Vintage Tsuba Paper Weight Souvenir "Compliments of NYK Line"

A vintage tsuba paper weight marked ‘Compliments of NYK Line’. The tsuba, or decorative Japanese sword crossguard is a souvenir of a cruise line circa 1920’s for the Nippon Yusen Kaisha Line. The paperweight features an ornate raised design against a hammered ground and a loop in the center is tied with twisted cord.
