Vintage Paul Jennis "Marry Me Scarlett!" Decorative Porcelain Plate

A limited-edition Paul Jennis decorative porcelain plate. Titled Marry Me Scarlett!, this 1991 transfer-printed plate depicts a scene from the classic M.G.M. movie Gone With the Wind in which Scarlett and Rhett embrace. The piece is singed ‘P. Jennis’ in the lithographic plate. The plate is marked, in part, ‘W. S. George Fine China’ and ‘Plate No. 11585E’ on the reverse. It comes with a certificate of authenticity. A warning on the underside reads “Ceramic art – not for food use. Faithful color pigments may poison food.”
