Item Details

A signed ceramic bowl and vase. Included is a hand-painted, handbuilt stoneware bowl by Australian Aboriginal artist, ‘Miss Emily.’ It has a charming, hand-painted silhouette of a couple watching a river in a simple landscape with flying bird accent, rendered in black over an opaque ivory colored glaze and is marked, ‘Miss Emily-Aboriginal Art-M.Mok’ to the verso. Also included is a dark, almost deep aubergine hand-blown glass vase with coppery abstract accents, having a rounded and tapered form. It is etch marked by hand, ‘John Cook – 91’ to the underside.
