Item Details
An oil painting on canvas board titled On The Wharf, Porvincetown, Mass. This plein air painting depicts waterfront buildings and docks of a New England fishing wharf. A grouping of three barrels commands the foreground, next to a green rowboat tied to a pier. The unsigned work is presented in a painted wood frame with gold tone trim and a linen liner. There is a hanging wire mounted to the verso, along with an identification label.
