A lithographic map on paper titled Map of the Battle Field of Spottsylvania C.H.. With a legend to the lower right and the title to the lower left, this print depicts a geographical map of the area where a battle took place at the end of the American Civil War from May 8th to 21st in 1865. Mounted under a single layer of blue matting, the print is presented under glass in a brown and black wood frame with a wire present to the verso for hanging purposes.

- light edge wear to frame; small holes and a torn lower left corner of the paper; holes to the bottom center of map.
