A hand-knotted Indo-Persian ‘Kashan’ wool palace size runner. This extremely long rug is rendered in a palette of ivory, sage, rose, pale yellow, mocha, indigo, rust, mauve, and powder blue. The ivory colored field features a scrolling herati pattern throughout, while framed in a sage grounded floral meander border. Finishing this rug are overcast selvedges and an ivory knotted warp fringe to the ends, and it is marked with two tags.
