Vintage Cast Iron Fire Engine Mechanical Bank

Item Details

A vintage cast iron fire engine mechanical bank. This vintage piece features a two-piece fire engine, with a mustachioed fire fighter in a yellow coat, pointing the way; when a coin is placed in the front of the truck, pressing a lever will slide the engine forward and deposit the coin into the red fire house bank. The bank stands on a black and red painted base that reads ‘Station H.I.’ to the side, and the metal plug in the vented underside bears an illegible mark.
