An offset lithograph on paper after an original painting by listed French artist Paul Jouve (1878-1973). The print depicts a tiger with a direct, piercing gaze, laying on the ground before a loosely rendered tropical forest. It is signed and dated 1922 within the plate to the lower right. The work is presented behind an off-white mat with a gold tone liner, under glass, in a gold tone wood frame with cast embellishments, and is ready to hang with a wire.
