A Japanese late Meiji period (1868-1912) hand painted decorative Imari plate. This plate features a wide, squat form accented with a scalloped rim and hand painted designs of florals and geometric patterns in colors of red, blue, and gold tone. The underside is marked ‘fuku’ (福) to the underside and dates from the late Meiji period, circa 1880-1900.
