A commemorative medallion from the Freedoms Foundation at Valley Forge. The Freedoms Foundation is a non-profit citizenship-based educational program centered at Valley Forge, Pennsylvania. This bronze-toned medal features an image of George Washington with hands clasped in prayer, with the inscription ‘Honoring James S. Copley, Public Address, 1967’ to the bottom. The reverse bears the inscription ‘For outstanding achievement in bringing about a better understanding of the American way of life.’
