Antique Hand Blown Painted Glass Bottle with Stopper

Item Details

An antique glass bottle. This piece is hand blown, etched and painted by hand in polychrome enamels. It shows a stylized rearing horse with a green pattern to the bottom and a blue, red and yellow border to the top. The other side is etched with the words, ‘Viva America.’ The item is not visibly marked and likely dates to the nineteenth century.

Condition

- surface marks and wear to enamels; in need of cleaning.
