Russian 875 Silver Footed Trinket Box
Item Details
A Russian 875 silver footed trinket box. This piece has a round form featuring a chased scrolled foliage design around the body, as well as handles on either side shaped like kiss clasps, and a four-footed base. The box also has a hinged lid with a pointed finial. The underside is stamped with the Russian Kokoshnik mark, alongside a maker’s mark resembling Nikolay Strulev of Moscow. The approximate weight is 9.755 ozt.
