An antique rawhide steamer trunk form J. Cummings & Son featuring rawhide panels having black metal strapping and silver-toned metal edging reinforced with corner and edge protectors. The front is missing the lock but has retained the impressive clamps and the original maker’s brass tag. The sides feature leather strap handles and to one side, a stenciled number ‘10’ and ‘P.K.H. Co’
