Handwoven Mexican Wool Accent Rug, Navajo Pattern
Item Details
A handwoven Mexican wool accent rug, patterned after a newer Navajo design. The small mat has been woven in shades of black, ivory, dove gray, and scarlet. A central stepped diamond motif is in a field of scarlet and black bands. On each long side are three half diamond motifs in the same color combination. The effect is to create a sort of optical pattern. At each end is a wider black band. The ends are finished in brown wool with a tassel at each corner. It is unmarked.
