A boys’ circa 1910s antique Japanese handwoven silk ceremonial miyamairi kimono, decorated in a hand painted sumi e and yuzen resist dyed design. This design features two carp swimming against violent sea waves and craggy rocks. Kamon crests are present to the front, back and the backs of the sleeves. The kimono has sash ties sewn to the front, and the interior is unlined.

- staining throughout, especially to the front.
