Boleslawiec "Eyespot" Polish Stoneware Canister With Lid

Item Details

A Boleslawiec ‘Eyespot’ Polish stoneware canister or storage jar. The cylindrical vessel has rounded shoulders and a flange at the top. The lid has a hoop handle. Both lid and container are hand-painted in dark blue circles with white centers and have narrow floral bands. The canister body is marked in underglaze ‘Handmade in Poland’ and the embossed mark of Boleslawiec on the underside.
