Antique Mortise Lock, Doorknobs, and Backplates

Item Details

An antique mortise lock with a doorknob set and backplates. This complete set includes a lock mechanism, central bar, knob screws, two metal doorknobs with a glossy black enamel finish, and two elaborate cast-iron backplates with key escutcheons. Lock plate screws are not included.

Condition

- very worn, scratched and rusted; paint residue to edges of backplate and mortise lock; wear to knob finishes; untested.
