Enamel Paintings on Copper After Pablo Picasso

A pair of enamel copy paintings on copper by an anonymous artist after the original paintings titled Desemparats and Paul en Pierrot by Pablo Picasso. Desemparats depicts a woman holding a young child, rendered in blue tones. Paul en Pierrot depicts a small boy dressed as a pantomime character wearing a predominantly white shirt and trousers with a large ruffle collar, black shoes, hat, and holds a black mask. A plaque on the lower edge of the frame reads ‘Picasso’. These works are presented without glass in matching wood frames.

- wooden frame accent broken from one frame; residue on both plates; wear to each frame; toning on labels on verso.
