1940s Swedish Kneehole Desk
Item Details
A 1940s Swedish, Neoclassical style knee-hole desk in cherry stained birch, having a rectangular top over a dovetailed pencil drawer and kneehole standing on two pedestals resting on black ball feet. Each pedestal is topped with a shallow drawer and a cabinet door that opens to three stacked drawers. The drawers and cabinet doors are fitted with brass ring pulls with keyholes in the centers. The front of the pedestals on both sides are embellished with a decorative accent. There are no visible maker’s marks.
