An oil painting portrait by listed American artist Tom J. Dooley (born 1942). This portrait depicts a middle aged man in traditional Native American attire. He wears his grey hair in two leather wrapped braids and has multiple beaded and turquoise necklaces around his neck. The work is signed in the lower right ‘Tom J.Dooley’.It is presented in a wood frame with tan burlap liner. There is a hanging wire mounted to the verso.
