Item Details
An antique Renaissance Revival walnut shaving stand. This piece features a straight crest rail with carved and decorative pediment flanked by finials over a framed mirror. The stand features an off white marble top with beveled edges over two dovetail joinery drawers with escutcheon and knob handle. This piece features a scalloped, incised apron. It rises on a round pedestal post with S-scroll supports and turned base rising on curved legs. The legs feature acanthus leaf carved knees and are joined by a drop finial. There are no visible maker’s marks.
