A hand-knotted pure silk Sino-Persian Tabriz rug. The rug displays two oval medallions in rust and ivory over a highly ornamental field. The field and spandrels are decorated with dense floral and foliate patterns. The field is circled by a principal cartouche border with flanking rust colored minor border. The rug is finished with overcast edges and silk warp fringe.
