Hand-Knotted Safavieh "Herati" Carpet Runner
Item Details
A hand-knotted carpet runner by Safavieh. This wool rug features a Persian-style, ornate herati pattern in a palette of cream, camel, powder blue and cocoa, with highlights in midnight blue. Incorporated are palmettes, flowers, split leaves and vinework over a cream field. The field is framed by compound borders, including a herati main border grounded in cream and meandering floral minor borders over camel. Selvedges are double overcast, the rug finishing at each end with short wool warp fringe. Blue weft threads are visible on the underside. The rug is labeled.
