Reproduction "Lord of Sipán" Decorative Mask

Item Details

A reproduction decorative mask of the ‘Lord of Sipán,’ constructed of stoneware with dyed sand composite eyes. This mask has a gold-painted finish and a ribbon for hanging to the verso. The Lord of Sipán was mummy of the Moche civilization of Peru, whose lavish burial site – including the funerary mask reproduced here – was excavated in 1987.
