A hand-knotted Heriz Northwest Persian runner. This wool rug from northwest Persia, attributed to Indian weavers, is rendered in a palette of indigo, cranberry, rose, tan and black. It has three diamond medallions with a floral motif over a cranberry field. The field is framed with a compound border featuring an indigo primary band with abstract decorations.The rug ends with natural warp fringe to either end. The rug is unmarked.
