An oil painting on board signed by listed artist Alvah L. Browning (American; 1864-1947), titled Mt. Hood, Oregon. This Impressionist style painting depicts a cozy, wooden cabin with a plumage of smoke rising from its chimney. It is situated near a treaded dirt road, which winds through a wooded area with the titular mountain to the distance. To the lower left corner is a painted artist signature. The painting is presented in a mottled wooden frame with hanging wire and an information tag to the verso.
