Item Details
An antique Art Nouveau style repoussé sterling silver brush and mirror set by Unger Bros. of Newark, NJ (active 1872-1919). Each piece features a sterling frame with a repoussé design of scrolls, flowers, and a woman’s face with flowing hair. Both have personalized engravings and are marked ‘Sterling 925 Fine’ alongside the ‘UB’ maker’s marks to the sides.
Condition
- to fair; mild to moderate surface wear including dents, marks, scratches, and minimal tarnishing; some abrasion on mirror glass; personalized engraving on both pieces.
