Item Details
A pair of abstract watercolor paintings on paper by listed French artist and set designer Andre Delfau (1914-2000). Each piece appears to depict concept art for a stage production, one depicting loosely-rendered figures before a mid century-style geometric grid and another in front of a line of what looks like barbed wire trees. Both unframed paintings are signed ‘Delfau’ to their lower right corners.
Condition
- discoloration and staining to both paintings; wear and bending to paper and edges and corners.
