1993 Acrylic on Carved Wood Fence of the Biblical Story of Ezra

An acrylic painting on carved wood. This piece, created from a repurposed piece of redwood fencing, depicts the Biblical priest Ezra as he weighs the new holy vessels of Jerusalem after the Jews return. The story is inscribed to the verso, along with the date 1993 and statement that the work was made in Tucson, Arizona by a temple workshop. There is wire to the verso for hanging.
