A Gorham Camellia sterling silver flatware service for six. The flatware features embossed floral banding to the handles, being designed by James Russell Price and introduced 1941. The forty-six piece service comes stored in a Gorham flatware storage case and includes six hollow handle dinner knives, twelve teaspoons, six dinner forks, six salad forks, six round bowl soup spoons and six individual flat handle butter knives. Serving pieces include a sauce ladle, sugar spoon, serving fork and serving spoon. All pieces are marked ‘Gorham Sterling Pat. 1941 Camellia’ to handle verso, with the exception of the dinner knives. The sterling silver content weighs approximately 46.305 ozt, excluding the hollow handle dinner knives with stainless steel blades.
