A watercolor and gouache painting on paper of cherries signed and dated ‘A.J. Rott 1900.’ This piece depicts a basket of cherries spilling out onto a shadowy ground, bundles of leaves pinned underneath them. The work is signed to its lower right and is mounted in a carved gold tone frame with a hanging wire to its verso.

- fair; heavy discoloration to verso; notable chipping to frame.
