Item Details
An antique scrimshawed powder horn and hand beaded hide pocket. The horn includes a convex wooden base and features circular geometric designs, scrollwork borders and the monogram ‘MC’. The collection also includes an antique hand beaded hide pocket featuring a doeskin interior in a cream tone and a tan suede out exterior hide. It features a floral and foliate beaded design in burgundy, white and blue tones and bears the monogram ‘I.S. I-I’. The designs to both items are Northern European in style, and may have been made by the same person or people of the same Northern European background.
