A serigraph poster on paper designed by the artists Joseph Musso and Stephen Ziskin titled The Green Giant, printed in 1971 by Murray Skoff Enterprises. The piece depicts iconic businessman and pilot Howard Hughes (1905 – 1978) dressed as the print’s title character, wearing a tunic made of dollar bills and a sheriff’s star around his neck. He is shown with arms akimbo, standing against a blue background depicting imagery relating to the billionaire’s infamous rise and fall, including Las Vegas casinos, the TWA logo, classic Hollywood films and various friends and associates of Hughes. The image is signed in plate to the lower right and titled in plate to the lower center, with copyright information printed to the lower left. It is presented unframed.

Condition

- wear to surface of print, with small creases scattered throughout; small scuffs to image, with media loss present; toning and discoloration to paper; water spots and staining to edges and verso; wear to edges, with a small piece ripped away at top left corner; poster is unframed.
