World War II Era Brass Ammunition Shell

Item Details

A vintage World War II era brass ammunition shell. This shell is similar to those used in tank destroyers in World War II, with a brass grooved band around the center and a threaded nose in order to screw in a fuze before firing. The shell is marked ‘CC190’ (likely a lot number) to the shell, and has been etched with the names of a married couple, the husband of which served in the US Army in World War II.
