A graphite drawing on paper of a figure study. This drawing depicts a nude woman seated before overturned luggage and an open umbrella in a sparsely furnished interior. The composition is rendered with gestural outlines and stacked, linear marks which create value gradation. To the lower left corner is a faint inscription reading ‘Green KF’. The drawing is presented under glass beneath matting in a black wooden frame with hanging wire to the verso.

Condition

- discoloration and marks to mat particularly along lower edge; accretions to glass and frame; lower joint of frame loose with gap to lower right corner; marks and scratches throughout frame; wear to frame at corners.
