A lithograph print on paper advertising the ‘Fairy Sisters’ Cassie and Victoria Foster, touted as the ‘smallest persons in the world’. The poster depicts two small girls standing next to a table that appears extremely large in comparison, with smaller scenes contained in bubbles around them. There is text to the upper and lower portions of the print touting their wondrous size. It is signed and dated ‘Briggs 1872’ in plate to the lower left. This print is presented behind glass in a wood frame with a gold tone sight edge.

Condition

- severe discoloration to the image; moisture stains along the bottom of the image; stains along the right and running horizontally across the piece; image is not held tightly in the frame; slight wrinkling to ground; moderate to severe wear to frame.
