A cavalry saber with a brass grip. This saber features a single-sided, slightly curved blade, with a wide fuller and the number ‘10’ stamped into the ricasso. The molded brass grip features a button pommel and backstrap, with a three-branch knuckle bow terminating in an oval counterguard with a starburst pattern. The metal scabbard features two suspension rings and a flattened chape.

Condition

- significant tarnish to sword and rust to scabbard; evidence of repair at the base of the blade; blade is dull.
