An oil painting on canvas after Raphael’s 1512 altarpiece Sistine Madonna. This painting features a robed mother holding her child, both of which inquisitively stare forward. The surface has been treated to resemble that of an aged painting. The unsigned work is presented in a stained wooden frame featuring a gold tone liner with hanging wire to the verso.

- heavy discoloration to surface; wrinkling to backing paper; tape supporting backing paper not fully around frame verso.
