Item Details

An Ernst Wahliss Art Nouveau Amphora vase. The four sided vase has gilt stylized Art Nouveau flowers with berries and pierced work at the mouth. The sides are hand painted with a floral and window like designs in deep blue, green, gray, rust and black. Marked to the underside in red with the Turn Vienna logo and ‘Made in Austria’, and incised with ‘5963 I’ and handwritten in blue with ‘5963/2737’. Circa 1880-1910.
