Antique Quarter Sawn Oak Bench

Item Details

A quarter sawn oak bench circa 1900, in the style of R.J. Horner. The bench features an ornately carved crest rail with central bouquet, raised acanthus scrollwork and lion head carved stiles. It includes a ‘U’ shaped seat flanked by scrolled handholds with pierced support rails. The seat stands on ‘U’ shaped, splayed legs joined by a carved apron, side stretchers and terminating on paw feet. A cream tufted cushion is included.
