A vintage chinoiserie hand-painted chest of drawers. The tall chest of drawers features straight, clean lines, with straight sides. It is made of lacquered wood, featuring a cabinet at the top, with the cabinet doors featuring a scene of human figures in a landscape with a mountain, willow trees and a stream. Below are five drawers fitted with center pulls, and decorated with flowers and other patterns. The borders of the frame are embellished with gold painted designs, and the side panels are decorated with more landscape scenes with human figures. No maker’s marks.
