A group of three etchings from the publication Etching & Etchers by English artist, art critic, and author Philip Gilbert Hamerton (1834-1894). This group of etchings includes two copy pieces and one by Philip Gilbert Hamerton. One etching is a copy by P.G. Hamerton after The Corpulent Beggar (Gueux À Gros Ventre) by well listed Dutch artist Rembrandt Harmenszoon van Rijn (1606-1669). The second etching is a copy by P.G. Hamerton after Trees by well listed Flemish artist Antonie Waterloo (1609 – 1690). The third etching is an etching by P.G. Hamerton himself Poplars and Oak, A Sketch from Nature. The third print is signed in plate. All three etchings are presented in white mats with a black lining, beneath glass, and in wood frames with black line detail. The verso of each print is equipped to hang.

Condition

- some discoloration of the paper consistent with age.
