Chinese Gouache Paintings on Silk Still Lifes
Item Details
A pair for Chinese gouache paintings on silk of floral still lifes, dated to the early 20th century. Each of the works depict a vase of with a blooming plant. To the upper left of each is calligraphic text and a single red seal. Each is housed in a wood frame under matting and acrylic glass.
Condition
- minor tears to the paper backing; minor scuffing to the finishes on the frames; overall discoloration to the silk; minor areas of foxing to the silk.
