A pair of vintage French opera glasses. This collection includes a pair of opera glasses by Sportiere of Paris with plated lead grips, featuring cast illustrations of birds on branches, silver-toned and brass-toned metal framing, and a focusing dial, marked “Sportiere Paris” to their eyepieces. Also included are a pair of opera glasses with cognac leather grips and brass-toned metal framing from Le Jockey Club, marked ‘Jockey Paris’ to the eyepieces.
