A watercolor and gouache painting by listed American artist John Mendoza (20th century), dated 1971; titled Sliver Island. The piece is signed and dated in paint to the lower right corner. The piece depicts an abstract landscape comprised of bleeding blue pigments. The work is presented behind glass, beneath double matting, housed in a wood frame with a silver-tone finish.
