Georges Briard "Victorian Garden" Tableware

A sixteen piece collection of porcelain tableware from Georges Briard. This pattern, Victorian Garden, displays transfer printed images of garden flowers including Texas bluebonnet, viola and cyclamen, among others. The flowers are printed to the well of the plates and bowls as well as the interior of the cups. The group is comprised of a lidded serving bowl, three salad plates, four bowls, four teacups and four saucers. Items are marked to the undersides with, ‘Georges Briard’ as well as the botanical names of the flowers.
