Royal Doulton Character Jugs Including "The Mikado" and "John Peel"
Item Details
A collection of eight vintage Royal Doulton character jugs, featuring four characters in two sizes. Included are a pair of Veteran Motorist character jugs, copyright 1972 and two Athos jugs, copyright 1955. Also included are a pair of The Mikado jugs, copyright 1958 and two John Peel jugs. The larger John Peel jug dates 1939-55 and the smaller jug dates 1942. All of the mugs bear maker’s marks to the underside.
