Antique Hames Or Conestoga Bells

Item Details

A set of four hame or conestoga bells set in a wooden frame. The brackets are made in wrought iron and have three to five open mouth bells each in different sizes. When in use, each end of the wrought iron bracket is attached to the top of the hames of the horse’s leather collar which makes the bells raised over the horse’s head. The bells have a black leather cover with red wool fringe trimmed to the top edge. The wooden display stand has a mahogany colored finish.

Condition

Fringe shows wear with discoloration, fringe and leather need cleaned.
