An early 20th century Bausch & Lomb Optical Co. monocular microscope with wood carrying case and slides. This monocular microscope, serial number 78823, features two objective lenses in a rotating nose piece that can hold three objective lenses with a fixed square stage with two slide clips and a substage mirror for a light source. Also included wooden carrying case with key, additional ocular lenses and glass microscope slides. The microscope is marked ‘Bausch & Lomb Rochester N.Y.’ to the base.
Condition
- untested; one ocular in wood rack damaged and can’t be removed; surface marks and pitting.
