Louis XV Style Mahogany Bombé Chest of Drawers

A Louis XV style, mahogany bombé chest of drawers having a serpentine shaped green marble top over two stacked drawers. The drawers feature book-matched mahogany veneers set on the diagonal, cast silver-toned metal foliage pulls and decorative cast metal trim flanked by ormolu attached to the stiles. Both sides have book match mahogany veneer panels with cast metal trim. The legs extend from the stiles and curve outward with metal caps to the front feet joined by a serpentine apron with a mount. There are no visible maker’s marks.

Condition

Slight bubbling to veneer.
